INTERIOR:

• Un-clutter home and closets • Leaky taps and toilets repaired
• Touch up paint and chipped plaster • Sqeaky doors oiled
• Replace lightbulbs • Mirrors, fixtures and taps cleaned and polished
• Complete repairs • Seals around tubs and basins in good repair
• No pets • All torn screens replaced
• Remove valuable and personal objects • Avoid painting walls unless current colors are loud
• Lights on and drapes open • Appliances cleaned
• Doors and cupboards neat and closed • Heat set at a comfortable setting

EXTERIOR:

• House number visible • Lights on timers to ensure house is lit after sunset
• Mow, edge and weed lawn • Liter picked up
• Mend and paint fences • Cracked or broken window panes replaced
• Garage and parking area neat and clean • Overgrown shrubbery should be cut back to show exterior of house
• Inspect or repair roof • Plant inexpensive flowers to add a personal touch
• Wash all windows inside and out • Stucco water stains can be removed with mild bleach
